    Let me begin this review by merely saying that I don't care what the gentrifiers are saying.   I have been coming to this restaurant since I was a little girl and I have not ever had a bad experience here.

    If you want to pay $25 to $30 for a simple hamburger, go out to birmingham or go to royal oak.  

    If you want good service and good food at a great price, come to Woodward Coney Island.    Now let's get on to the review:

    The service at this restaurant is always great and the waitresses are very friendly.   The food is always top notch.   The only problem is there is NO bathroom at all.

    Food is decent here.  The service is pretty good but I wouldn't say "welcoming".  Went for lunch around 11:30 on a Tuesday and there was a lot of seating available.  The food also came out really quick.

    Woodward Coney is a great coney island restaurant. The staff are friendly, approachable, and efficient. The service is always speedy so it is a great spot for lunch if you have a busy schedule.

    Service slow, Chicago dog worst I have ever had.
    Part of our meal came after half of our party was already finished.

    A regular visit for my coworkers and I. Everything is always out quickly and tastes yummy. Their breakfast items are my favorite and salads are a close second. I always tell myself that my Greek salad will balance out my cheese fries...because...it does!
    Staff is also quick and has never brought out an incorrect order. Even when we get our food to-go, nothing has ever been missing, no matter how many modifications you make.
    They don't have too many large seating options and it can get kind of tight, but it isn't usually a problem.
